Celebrity Big Brother!!

I have never known a Manager quite like David. Ever. In 40 odd years of my long working life.  Even when I became a Manager in British Airways about 10 yrs before I joined the Probation service, I trod that fine line between friend and enforcer, runner and rider.  I thought I did pretty good until I met Mr Walls . Wow! He was excellent at his job be it managing us Rebels or commissioning......whatever that was lol......He managed us in such a way that brought out the best in our team The Rebels at Maidenhead.......we who had no idea what eoasys was until they sent the darling Werner Von Rensburg in to shake us up!!!

Me,Perry and Keely were managed by David. We were his 'quaggle'........Ill never forget the time he took Perry and Keely out on a jolly down to Portsmouth Probation. Leaving me behind as the fourth bit of the quaggle. All bloody day  I had pictures sent to my fone and computer at work of David and the other two reprobates posing in marinas with  expensive boats, cruising across blue waters...........

Dont get me wrong. We worked hard for David because we wanted to. Because he made us believe we could make a difference with the most prolific offenders and I think we did at that time before........well we all know what happened.

When we had to move to Slough. We were put on the top floor. There was another team across the corridor after the lifts. Frequently, the manager across the way would come into our side, drawn by the hoots of laughter from our side. This would be because of a number of events, Rees having brought in her son's scooter.......hence races up and down the office......which we then took outside to the car park....or my absolute favourite....our discussions around Celebrity Big Brother........David doing his Frankie Coccoza impression.....basically leaping around the office like a baboons on crack........

Oh David. I miss you. Thanks for everything my friend xxxxx
